Links in God's Chain and more

 

Valley of Vision: My sin is that my heart is pleased and troubled as things please or trouble me, without my having regard for Christ.

All to Jesus: Our significance isn’t found in fame or fortune, but in knowing that we have been links in God’s chain. Our faithfulness to Him, even in obscurity, will yield results that can only be calculated in eternity.

Bible: A simpleton can learn only by seeing mockers punished; a wise person learns from instruction. Proverbs 21:11 (There are a lot of mockers on social media who have yet to be punished; that could explain our culture's abundance of simpletons.)  

MacArthur Sermon notes: I like John MacArthur's definition of a simpleton: A simpleton underestimates the reality of something.  Conviction and critical thinking create a wise person.  

Convictions are the immovable pillars of Biblical truth that will protect you against lies.  Critical thinking protects you against mindless ideologies.

What's wrong with America? white privilege, systemic racism, abuse of women, etc and other mindless stupidity. 

Fact: 99.9% of Americans survive covid.  But - 

"Get vaccinated": They lied about Russia.  The FBI lies.  The CIA lies. The National Institute of Health lies.  The World Health Organization lies.  The CDC lies.  The director of all this lies because he says something different every time he opens his mouth.  The politicians lie.  They lied about the "peaceful protests" that burned down our cities.  Lies, lies, lies, and then they say - "Get vaccinated; it's good for you." 

Bible: We depend on the Lord alone to save us.  Only He can help us, protecting us like a shield.  In Him our hearts rejoice, for we are trusting in His holy name.  Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.  Psalms 33:20-22

Bible: The Righteous One knows what is going on in the homes of the wicked; he will bring the wicked to disaster.  Proverbs 21:12  "God's got this!"
